Finding it difficult to find and choose the right golf cart seat covers?  You may have bought a second-hand cart or you may need to spruce up your brand new cart.  Either way, there are some things that you need to consider when looking and buying covers for your golf cart seat.  Your choice will depend on the brand and model of your cart, your preferences for design and your budget.

Are you particular about the installation of the covers?  Some covers can be installed very easily.  All you need to do is to take off the old cover and then put on the new cover like you are putting clothes to a person.  You don’t need any tools for the installation.  The downside of having this cover is that it may loosen up after people have seated for many times. 

You can also try a seat cover for your cart that uses hooks or bolts and nuts.  They fit snugly onto the seat and you have more assurance that they will not loosen up.  They look as if they came with the seat when you bought it.  It is very important to know how to install it because there are many covers that may look good but look shriveled up when installed on your cart.  If the dealer gives free installation, then take advantage of this service.

Shop around for different designs and don't settle with the first one that you liked. There are thousands and thousands of designs to choose from. If you have a particular design on your mind, you can talk to the dealer and ask if they have one or if they can customize the cover for you. You can also inquire if they can customize golf cart bags while you're on it. 

Don't rush buying golf cart covers. When they are already installed, you cannot change them without paying more. Before making a decision, shop around for different fabrics, materials, upholstery and designs. You also need to research about the reputation of the dealer. Take note of these things so that you can avoid wasting your money on seat covers that aren't good for your golf cart.
